		<description>These are a bunch of good tips. I hadn&#039;t thought about the merit of running on a half tank of gas or less for a larger vehicle but the idea seems sound. As far as coasting downhill in Illinois, this will work in some parts of Illinois. As a former resident of 30 years I&#039;ve done this with a stick shift many times. Illinois is very hilly in parts because glaciers swooped down from the Great Lakes and carved out the countryside. Any good gas saving tips as these are some that hypermilers use.</description>
